ReMedK is a research institution dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and guiding medical students through the entire research process—from the initial idea to final publication. Through a rigorous 8-month training program, we support learners in transforming their research concepts into published work.
Meet our Members
A medical doctor and research scientist. I have worked with Remed since 2019, and the organisation has been able to groom me from a junior research assistant to a research investigator, trainer and mentor. I have been able to publish several articles in collaboration with other researchers in Remed and honed my research design and data analysis skills. Currently, I am interested in clinical trials, systematic reviews, global health and implementation science.
Dr. Ibsen
As a BSc Anat, MBCHB 3, I’ve grown to truly love anatomy, though it wasn’t always that way at the start. Now, combining anatomy with research has been mind-blowing. I’m new to the world of research, and while I can get a little too ambitious sometimes, it’s what keeps me grounded.
What I love most is that research doesn’t have to start big, sometimes, it’s as simple as asking “why?” and searching for the answer that’s already out there, waiting to be found.
At the moment, I’m exploring different areas of medical research, still discovering what I’m most passionate about. I haven’t found my niche yet, but I’m loving the journey.

ABOUT REMEDK
Since its founding in 2016, ReMedK has successfully trained three cohorts of medical students, many of whom have gone on to publish their research and apply their skills in clinical practice. Our hands-on approach combines structured classroom sessions with personalized one-on-one mentoring, ensuring a comprehensive and practical learning experience.
Learners also participate in presentation sessions where they showcase their ongoing research, reinforcing their understanding through active engagement. This approach allows students to learn by doing—writing, analyzing, and presenting their own work. By the end of the program, each participant graduates with a certificate and a completed publication, equipping them with both knowledge and tangible outcomes.
